Guide: Victoria VIE (SD61) Summer Camp Application Online Form
Camp Victoria runs from July 8 to August 16, 2024. Students may join any Monday within the program dates for a 2, 3, 4, 5 , or 6 week program. Students must be between 12-18 years old (Canadian age) to attend Camp Victoria.
Arrival should be the Sunday prior to the Monday start and departure should be the Sunday after the program end day.

RRU Undergraduate Programs for International Students
For Year 1 Entry
The 4-year undergraduate degree option includes English-language upgrading and is designed primarily for international students who have not yet achieved fluency in English.
For Year 3 Entry
(degree completion) Degree completion comprises the final 2 years of a 4-year under- graduate degree. In some programs, the final 2 years can be completed in an accelerated format in as little as 12 months.

Ministerial Instructions: Priority Processing for the Student Direct Stream Program
These Instructions are published in the Canada Gazette in accordance with subsection 87.3(6) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (the Act).
These Instructions are given pursuant to section 87.3 of the Act by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration (the Minister) as, in the opinion of the Minister, these Instructions will best support the attainment of the immigration goals established by the Government of Canada.
These Instructions are consistent with the objectives of the Act, as set out in section 3.
These Instructions are directed to officers who are charged with handling and/or reviewing certain applications for study permits, and establish conditions that must be met for these study permits to receive priority processing. For the purposes of these Instructions, “priority processing” refers to an intended shortened processing time as compared to the regular study permit application process.

New IRCC Public Policy: Work Permit Extension for PGWP Holders
Foreign nationals whose PGWP has already expired in 2023, as well as those who were eligible for the 2022 PGWP facilitative measure, will also have the opportunity to apply for an additional 18-month work permit.
Starting April 6 2023, international graduates with a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) expiring in 2023 will qualify for an extended work permit to stay in Canada for up to 18 months longer.

Temporary Increase in Work Hours for International Students
Generally, most study permit holders are authorized to work off-campus on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) during an academic session. This includes an ability to work on a full-time basis during regularly scheduled breaks (e.g., summer holidays).
Under Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) new temporary public policy, most study permit holders are now permitted to work more than 20 hours per week during an academic session between November 15, 2022 and December 31, 2023, if they meet the eligibility criteria.
