Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program: Important Update
Ontario’s Provincial Nominee Program, now named the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), is improving to meet the needs of foreign businesses and entrepreneurs, and to reflect Ontario’s evolving economic and labour market needs.
As a follow-up to the February 10 and 11, 2015 stakeholder consultations, the Ministry is pleased to introduce two new OINP business streams (Corporate and Entrepreneur) to be launched in fall 2015 to attract foreign investment and talent, create jobs for Ontarians and strengthen Ontario’s linkages to global markets.
More information on these streams can be found here:
These new streams are replacing the Investor Component.
Effective today, the Investor Component is closed and new applications will not be accepted. All applications received on or before October 29, 2015 will be processed under the Investor Component criteria as it applied at the date of application.
