The NLPNP Family Connections Category is for Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents who wish to sponsor an eligible family member (referred to as the Relative) for Permanent Residence.

The NLPNP International Graduate Category is for international students who have graduated from a recognized post-secondary educational institution in Canada, to be considered for nomination for permanent residence in Canada.
Graduates interested in applying under this category must do so within two years of the date of their graduation.

Read MoreApplying to the NLPNP is a simple process. First, potential applicants must determine which of the four categories they belong to Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Family Connections or Immigrant Entrepreneur. Following this, the potential applicant will download and complete all required provincial and federal forms for their category and gather the required supporting documentation (eg. Birth Certificates, Diplomas, Passports etc). Once this is completed the candidate will send in all forms and documentation to the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism. Below is a brief overview of the four categories.
