SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
Learn English, make new friends and enjoy the many recreational offerings and outstanding natural beauty of Victoria in VIE’s Camp Victoria Summer Program.
- Camp Victoria is offered from July 8- August 16, 2024
- Students ages 12-18 join Camp Victoria
- English language instruction with a focus on using English in everyday settings
- Fun, supportive environment for students to improve their English
- Class-based ELL learning is combined with local activities
- Classroom instruction focuses on developing skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking with emphasis on communicative English for specific purposes.

Activity Schedule
Camp Victoria focuses on practical language learning experiences that allow students to further develop their English language proficiency. Through in-class learning, as well as local activities, students will have opportunities to practice their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in real-world contexts:
- Six-days-a-week program
- English language learning (ELL) with a focus on real-world settings
- Live with a caring Canadian homestay family
- Explore a new culture and be immersed in Canadian life
- Participate in a variety of fun and engaging local activities, as well as opportunities to visit scenic Vancouver
- Program hours: 9:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Saturday
